Discoveries

The discovery "Block and Tackle" is granted by doing trade quests. For each quest there is a 4% chance of making the discovery. This discovery grants a +20% loading speed when harvesting resources on the map.

The discovery "Inquisitive Populace" is unveiled by doing Diplomacy quests. Each diplomacy quest(part) has 2% chance of making the discovery. The discovery grants a +2 visibility for incoming hostile diplomats.

The discovery "Famine Management" is obtained upon building/capturing your 10nth city. It gives 10% food production in your capital.

Steamtastic Brewery:
The Brewery lies at [-513/-96], and if you send 150 advanced spies to the site, your town will receive a discovery - Gnome Brew - that reduce the cost of food for one barrel of beer by 5. *Update: I accomplished this using only 130 advanced spies.*

Each city that spies one of the sites will receive as reward one special defensive diplomat, a Scribe of Allembine. They have low upkeep (2 gold) and a very high defensive value. The scribe is a spy type unit: speed 5, attack 11, defense 120

When you collect all 20 scribes, you gain discovery 'Allembine Research', which grants +5 research points hourly per Library level.

I have created links for each site you need to send an advanced spy to, making this process about 90% easier to accomplish. When you click the link, a new window will open to the diplomatic command page, with the target coordinates already entered.
